After alternating placement, move one square orthogonally or make one orthogonal jump over an opponent. No diagonal or chained jumps. Ordinary moves can sandwich-capture; jumps cannot. The centre is a sanctuary: a counter there cannot be captured or jumped. Eliminate all opposing counters to win.
